FE reserves marginally up by 0.56 b USD

Mumbai, Jan 2 UNI The Reserve Bank of India today said the country's foreign exchange reserves marginally improved by 0.56 B USD during the fortnight ending December 26 at 254.61 b USD. The increase was mainly due to an additional increment in the foreign currency assets, which included the effect of appreciation/depreciation of non-US currencies such as Euro, Sterling, Yen held in reserves. The reserve was, however, less by 55.
