Nigeria: Education in State of Decay, Says Ogburn, Principal, Avi-Cenna

David Ogburn, a Briton, is the principal, Avi-Cenna International School, Ikeja. Recently, the school celebrated its International Day 2008, with so much colour and pageantry. Twenty one countries were represented at the celebration, including diplomats, top government officials, parents, guardians, friends and well wishers.There were march pasts by participating nations represented by pupils and students, hoisting of national flags, rendering of national anthems, cultural displays, singing and dancing. On display also were the foods, drinks of the countries.
