film "Meu Nome e Dindi" My Name is Dindi was screened Tuesday evening at the 14th Kolkata Film Festival here, professes to be a "great" Krishna devotee."I am a great Krishna devotee. I believe that it's by his blessings that I have become a successful actor in just two years in this profession," Djin told
reporters Tuesday prior to the screening of her film here.She revers Lord Krishna so much that she wants to play Krishna's
love Radha in the near future."If I get a chance I will play a Gopi or a Radha on screen in future. Maybe, some day I will also make a film on Krishna with lot of imagination and love," said the 21-year-old actor."This is my first visit to
India. During my next visit I will definitely go to Mathura and Vrindavan the
birth place of Krishna."The actor said
Indian culture and
spirituality has become a part of her life."During my stay in
London while studying film and
acting, I interacted with a lot of
Indians and got to know about their culture and spirituality. I am also influenced by Buddhism, have seen lot of Hindi
films, tucked in Indian
sweets and
food and even know how to wear a sari," she said.Born to director Rogerio Sganzerla and actor Helena Ignez, Djin has already acted in six films. In her seventh film "My Name is Dindi" directed by Bruno Safadi, she plays the main protagonist - Dindi, a young greengrocery owner who is on the verge of bankruptcy in Rio de Janeiro. The story is about how she struggles for her existence, persecuted by a moneylender and a strange old man. "The film released on Friday and I heard that by the grace of Lord Krishna it is
