By Akshaya Kumar Sahoo and Rabindra Nath ChoudhuryBhubaneswarNov. 6: The local administration clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in Kandhamal to prevent further flare-up of communal violence.Meanwhile, the Orissa government on Thursday said it had not received any formal request from Sister Meena for shifting of the test identification TI parade venue from the state to New Delhi. The crime branch, which is investigating into the nun gang-rape case, has suggested for conducting the TI parade in Orissa. However, the nun and a few Christian bodies have been insisting on shifting of the venue to Delhi arguing that it would ensure greater "transparency" and "fair play".It may be noted here that Baliguda sub-divisional magistrate court in Kandhamal, in response to a petition filed by the state police, had on Tuesday asked the nun to be present during the test TI parade of the accused on November 12.Cuttack-Bhubaneswar archbishop, Raphael Chinnath has said the victim may move the court praying for a direction to the police to conduct TI parade at Delhi. In yet another development, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, a Sangh Parivar organisation, on Thursday accused that chief minister Naveen Patnaik was adopting a "minority appeasement" policy for vote-bank politics."Naveen is no better than the Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Hindus are being butchered in Kandhamal by the minority community people. Any time a Hindu is killed, Naveen says itâÂÂs an act of Maoists. And when a minority community person is killed, he says itâÂÂs an act of Sangh Parivar and arrests innocent Hindus, most of whom are illiterate tribals," alleged Banavasi Kalyan Ashram general secretary Laxmikant Dash
