Parents of school-aged children in Metro Detroit should be prepared to cough up about $50 to send their little geniuses back to school with the classroom supplies they&aposll need for the upcoming year. Consumers are already hitting the stores, kids in tow, to stock up on note pads, pencils, markers, folders, crayons and backpacks.
